And So The End Is Near

Gym sessions have been a bit on the light side this week as I had to finish some over due mandatory training that I need for my work that provides me with my boats!

Tonight was my final gym session in Inverness, good session now I need to find a new gym!

Push It

Today I did push it a bit harder and faster- took 30s off my 2000m on the rowing machine, I'm a happy ted!

Keep On Runnin'

No not the Spencer Davies Group, I did a little bit of off road tonight and followed it up with two back to back planks. I did say, "This times it's serious!"

Loch Lomond

Yesterday (Saturday) I went south to meet up with Michael Yeomans and Graeme Stewart.

Went out for a K2 paddle on Loch Lomond with Michael yesterday in a Condor. I think this was my first K2 outing this year?  After fixing the steering and me getting to grips with rear seat steering, we got the Condor flying.

Today, however, wasn't so successful. Michael and I went for a K1 outing, again on Loch Lomond. I won't blame the fizzy pop that Graeme plied me with on Saturday night but this years DW was worth celebrating! As I say in the title, this time it's serious- well this week I need to step up the training to the next level!

One Step Beyond

I've just been out for a run, well when I say run I'd be more accurate with jog but fast walking type thing is probably more descript! Actually I really don't care what it was, it go my heart rate up and it was a chance to see how my right knee's recovering from injury. The distance isn't long, the time isn't quick but it is 100% more than doing nothing!

Well it's a start and I'm not in too much pain!
